Jay Park returns with the music video for “Yesterday,” his latest solo track starring Korean actress Lee Yoo-mi of Squid Game and All Of Us Are Dead fame.

The Korean-American hitmaker shared the visual on February 13 and is part of a double-single release, alongside “Love Is Ugly” featuring MAMAMOO member Hwa Sa.

In a behind-the-scenes video released yesterday (February 14), Jay Park said the track is about asking to be “loved every day, even if I’m in a bad or good situation, even if I’m rich or not.” He also shared insights about the set design and the concept, which he mentioned he hasn’t tried doing before.

He described working on “Yesterday” as “refreshing,” following his appearance on the recently concluded season of the rap competition Show Me The Money. “This song has totally different vibes,” he added. The acoustic R&B track follows his high-profile joint EP with producer Slom (whom he worked with on SMTM as one half of the Team Slay duo), SLAY HOUSE REMIX, last month.

The digital double single was released under his new label, MORE VISION, which he launched early last year after stepping down as CEO of AOMG and H1GHR Music. He has since released several tracks in 2022, including “Bite,” “Need To Know,” and “Ganadara,” which featured singer-songwriter IU.
